RE: How to hide files from WinCVS?

The .cvsignore file must be in the same directory as Thumbs.db, did you
create one there?
The .cvsignore file has one line for each file, containing just the file
name (or a 'glob'  expression to match multiple files, such as *.db or
Thumbs.*)

I have certain Windows files (i.e., "Thumbs.db") that I'd like WinCVS
to not ever display in the file list, but only applicable to my local
machine.

I searched the Help manual for "ignore" and found reference to the
Show Ignored command, but not how to add new files.

I searched the web and found out about "cvsignore." I created a
".cvsignore" file with references to these files, but the files are
still displaying.

Is what I'm trying to do possible?
