I have done moves and renames within the cvs repository. I will create the new directory structure, copy the files to the new location, then notify user to delete the old files, so the files from the old location will go into the attic. History is intact and by copying the files and the new location still has all the modified history. Although the file/dir history itself is retained, it is retained with the new filename. If you checkout an older tag, the filename will not revert to the old filename. If you want to rename the file in a branch, but not everywhere else, that option doesn't work either. Thanks, Eric [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
