No it does not - and I never specified a directory of that name anywhere
- that's what I thought was weird.  Ahh - just fishing around it looks
like I once had a checked out sandbox there and I assume it's been
recorded in the maccvs history or something...

But the checkout dialog has a 'directory' field to specify this, why
should it prompt me?  I guess so it has a 'default' so if I do not
specify a 'directory' then it has one - but that is rather recursive -
why not simply make the directory field mandatory?  Sorry - don't mean
to be rewriting your spec.  I just wanted to perform a sanity test for
you and decieded checkout and browse tags were two 'arbitrary' functions
to test...

Yes -definitely I just double chceked...

Yes - it was just an arbitrary thing to test, I hardly think it is the
most critical function.
