I started off with a :local: server on my home PC.
That was before I was involved with this list and learned the other
options.
I then just started the server and changed the connection to use :sspi:.
Simple single-user single-PC system using recommended client-server
architecture with no extra hardware and no complication whatsoever.

	development team of one in the past and for the foreseeable

	many projects, it's been very useful to use CVS locally. All the
	benefits of version control without having to configure and
