The essential piece of information to know when working with triggers is that the entry in the trigger file may contain placeholders for the list of changed files, etc. (see e.g. <http://cvsdoc-zh.gro.clinux.org/cvsdoc/en/html/1_12_13/loginfo.html#loginfo >) and the verbose details of the change are sent on stdin, so piping to e.g. mail will send a mail with the descriptive text as contents...
