Hi, I'm after installing CVSNT on a server and it seems to be running grand, I can connect to it remotely from Netbeans and checkin&checkout modules without any problems. Now I've intsalled wincvs v2.0.2.4 on a local machine and I'm trying to connect to the CVS server using it but I'm having problems. It seems to successfully login into the CVS server as I get the message: cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/Test login Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401:/Test ***** CVS exited normally with code 0 ***** However when I go to browse the repository (test) it doesn't seem to see any of the folders/files I've checked in from Netbeans IDE( the folders exist as i've checked the repository on the server manually). But I when i browse the repostory after logging in from WinCVS successfully Im getting the following error message: cvs ls: No CVSROOT specified! Please use the -d option cvs[ls aborted] or set the CVSROOT environment variable As far as I'm aware the CVSROOT is set as I can logon to the CVS server but I seem to be missing something as i cant browse the repository. I thought once you successfully login, the CVSROOT and password are remembered automatically so you dont have to re-enter them again and again. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I've been stuck on this for a few weeks so I'd really appreciate some help with this. Thanks in advance, S ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
