cvs [checkout aborted]: /usr/cvs/cvsroot: no such repository

Hi everybody,

I installed WincCVS many times on my compurter. When I try to log in,  I met the following message : 
"cvs [checkout aborted]: /usr/cvs/cvsroot: no such repository"

From my computer, through Putty, I succeed in connecting to the the Unix server where there is the root "/usr/cvs/cvsroot".

I tried to change my password on the server but it does not work for all that.

I have also tried to redo a "cvs update -Pd" from my home on the server but is does not work more.


I work in network. With his login, my colleague succeed in logging in WinCVS from his computer and another one. But when he tries to log in from my computer, it displays the same message ("no such repository").

When I tried, with my login fourro, from my colleague's computer or from an another computer, it posts :
"cvs [login aborted] : authorization failed : server localhost rejected access to /usr/cvs/cvsroot for user fourro"

When I do a grep on the "inetd.conf" file, I get this 
grep -i cvs /etc/inetd.conf 
cvs  stream  tcp  nowait  root  /usr/local/bin/cvs cvs -f --allow-root=/usr/cvs/cvsroot pserver

For information, the Unix system ingineer told me that I had the same profile and the same authorizations than my colleage.


Is there anybody to help me please!!!!!????
