Restore process with WINCVS

Hi,

 We take a backup of the repository every alternate day.
Now I would like to know How can i restore the files in the following situations.

1.My Wincvs Server is completely dead and I would like to move the CVS to a new server.How to do this?..Will I have the same time stamps as that of old system or will there be any changes?

2.I lost some of my modules...I would like to recover only some modules from the restored repository.How to achieve this?

3.Is there any scope for replication or something like that?
