RE: Resetting Sticky Option and Expansion Option

Glad to hear my instructions helped get it working.  Your reply didn't
seem to appear in the mailing list so I've cc'd it in my reply - I'm
sure others are looking for the same answers and confused by the other
(incorrect or misleading) information out on the web.
 
Upgrading just requires running the installer.
 
For existing production system upgrades I always recommend you backup
the existing repo and do a restore to a test PC, download the CVS Suite
2009 and fire it up (and 'add' a new repository at the existing location
of the repo copy) just to check everything is OK.  This tests that your
backup is working, that you can restore your backup in case of a
catastrophic error and that the upgrade will work as designed (mostly
things admins should do regularly anyway).  
 
CVS Suite client also includes a version of WinCVS optimised for use
with CVS Suite 2009.

The security issue in 2.5.03 is very serious (see link in previous
post), even if (for some reason) the hundreds of bug fixes are not
important to you - that security fix will be important to your admins.

		Thanks for your detailed reply.  I was able to execute
the commands you indicated, and the keyword substitution seems to be
working fine, now.
		
		Previously, I had tried "-kkv" as I found during web
searching.  I thought I had also tried "-k kv" with a space, as you
have.  But I must not have tried that as I thought I had.
		
		Anyway, your commands did the trick.
		
		As for upgrading, I'll bring up the subject here, and
see whether we're in a position to upgrade at the moment with our
current project.
		
		Thanks again for your help.  I'm relieved now that the
file behaves like our others.
