We should open up a discussion thread on the developers list concerning 
what to do with the CvsGui family.  You may have seen someone inquiring 
about gCvs; I pointed him to the GTK 2 version, which works but is 
rough, and only available in source form.  Judging from your comment 
above, that makes 2 of the 3 platforms that don't currently have a 
useful version.

CVS use is declining; Sourceforge has put it into a legacy status.  Even 
if we wanted to maintain CvsGui, I would want to take a different 
approach for the Linux version.  The existing implementation tries to 
put a Windows-like wrapper around event messages, and that just doesn't 
work very well.  Instead, I think the only common piece should be the 
CVS interaction.  The GUI part should be native to each platform; I 
think the Mac implementation already does this.
