The intention behind the release candidate was to get feedback before 
releasing the official version. So far there has been no (positive OR 
negative) feedback since the release of RC2 14 days ago. If no feedback 
is received at all, the final version will probably be released in about 
a week.

(I would still very much like to hear from Windows 98 users who have 
installed RC 2).
