cvs.exe not included with TortoiseCVS any more?

Hi,

I recently ugraded to TortoiseCVS-1.10.10.exe and was surprised to 
find out that my BAT files for updating stopped working because 
cvs.exe was no longer included.   (e.g. cvs.exe -update )

I tried using TortoiseAct.exe, with and without command line 
parameters -- no luck.  I might have gotten that to work if I could 
have figured out the required format of the filelist, which seemed to 
be a required parameter rather than optional.  (Documentation 
anywhere on the parameters to TortoiseAct, aside from the pop-up 
dialogs which give insufficient detail )

I gave up and downloaded the client from the cvsnt people 
(march-hare), copied just the cvs.exe and all DLLs and the needed 
protocols .... and then uninstalled the client.... and that 
worked.  The cvs.exe was from 2006.

I'm wondering whether this omission of cvs.exe was intentional?  If 
so, what is the easiest/best way to download the cvs.exe client with 
its required files, for command-line use from BAT files?

I do love the Tortoise GUI and the only time I want to use BAT files 
is on servers, to run automatic sync's of projects as they go onto 
testing and production servers....
