Hi,
We have been using TortoiseCVS for some time now, and have had no problems other than the usual ones, due to missunderstandings and not reading the manual...
Now, however, we have run into a problem, so far only one user has this problem, but it is a strange one (the problem, not the user).
When a module is checked out everything is fine, but when the user tries to perform any actions (update, commit, add contents, etc.) on folder-level (directories), nothing happens, not even the [CVS > About] action results in anything, but when the same (or any other) action is performed on file-level, everything works as it should.
We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling TortoiseCVS, we have even tried to install an older version of TortoiseCVS, I believe it was 1.8.32, with no effect.
I know that we will most likely end up having to reinstall Windows XP, but we would very much like to avoid this.
Any suggestions as to how we can solve this problem would be most welcome.
TIA - Christian
