1.12.1-RC1

1) Is there a release note/changelog for 1.12.1-RC1 ... I'm just curious of what's new.
I can't find anything on the http://www.tortoisecvs.org/index.shtml website.
And, before Sourceforge changed its web format several months ago, it was easier for develops to include text files with their project files, which was a good place to put release notes.  But, since then, it's harder to find release notes.

2) CVSNT 2.5.05?
I see that 1.12.1-RC1 is including CVSNT 2.5.05.  The latest I can find on the march-hare website for download is 2.5.04.  Where do you get .05 and are there specific features of it you are using in 1.12.1-RC1?

3) Running on Windows 7.
I'm well aware of the limitations and risks of running on Windows Vista.  But, I thought I would just update we've been running 1.12.1-RC1 on Windows 7 64-bit without any known issues yet.

Tortoise CVS is incorrectly guessing that a .pdf file should be text rather than binary. In the documentation it states that whenever you commit a file the Add Dialog box appears from which you can change the format. However, I have found that the only time the Add Dialog box appears is when you try to commit a file with an unrecognizable extension. Therefore, I have no way of telling Tortoise that I want to commit a .pdf as binary rather than text using the GUI. 

So I am now attempting to edit the FileTypes.config file. I have edited the file to read: 

*.pdf binary 

I have saved this file in my CVS installation directory (C:\Program Files\TortoiseCVS). I am not sure if this is the correct place to save this file, but I went to CVS > Preferences and this is where it states that my Home directory is located. In any case, I have created this file and saved it in that directory and for some reason it still commits .pdf files as text/ASCII. 

Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
