Hi Howard,

What operating system are you using? Full name including which service
pack (eg: Windows XP x64 SP3)

What TortoiseCVS version are you installing? Full name including the
name of the install file (eg: TortoiseCVS-1.12.2.exe)

CVS Suite 2009 trial also includes TortoiseCVS, you can try that as an
alternative if you like.

Note: the latest TortoiseCVS is 1.12.2 - for questions on this mailing
list please always use the latest version. For questions about
TortoiseCVS 2009 (in CVS Suite) please contact March Hare Software
directly.

Regards,

Arthur Barrett
