I figured out why this is so by logging into the CVS server via the command line and running "cvs ls". The prior developer made "SDB" a module in the repository. He then put distinct projects under it. If he put them in as modules, to get nested modules, that would explain why I see "SDB" listed on the same level as modules it contains. They are all modules. This would explain my confusion and my problem using Tortoise. What should I do about this arrangement at this point? I like the idea of wrapping all of these distinct projects under something called "SDB" ( the name of the group they belong too ). Should I keep "SDB" as a module or make it into a repository? If a repository does it make more sense to create a new one at the same level as other repositories or have "SDB" live as a nested repository, under the repository everyone else is using to have everything in one place?
