Will TCVS 1.12.5 work with CVSNT 2.5.03 ?

To make a long story short, IT insists on CVSNT 2.5.03 (yes, they know about the vulnerability; no, they will not change their stance). My question is, can TortoiseVCS 1.12.5 work with CVSNT 2.5.03, and if it can, how can I set it up? (If it cannot, I could use 1.10.10 but I believe that 1.12.5 works better with overlays).
