That's exciting to hear! And yes, I think I understand *exactly* where you are coming from. My employer (CollabNet) hosts Subversion and CVS repositories for hundreds of companies -- tens of thousands of projects, and over a million users -- and we deploy ViewVC to them, too. The suspicion that I have that you might be over-engineering a solution for a problem that doesn't really exist is based on nearly six years of direct experience in supporting CollabNet's version control users as the primary maintainer of the ViewVC integration with our enterprise product. That said, if you're getting feedback from *your* users that they need these changes, by all means listen to them! -- C.
