ViewCVS 0.9.2 is really, *really* old. There have been almost nine years' worth of security fixes, bug fixes, features and enhancements made in ViewVC since it was release. So if there is *any way in the world* that you can upgrade to a newer version of ViewVC, I would strongly advise it. A "module" in ViewCVS/CVS terminology is a top-level subtree. As such, ViewVC/ViewCVS's 'forbidden' support only applies to top-level subtrees. So, you could hide "Project_Name" in your scenario, but not "Project_Name/Library/_Confidential Documents". Newer versions of ViewVC offer different types of protection. We call them 'authorizers'. One such authorizer is 'forbiddenre' (introduced in ViewVC 1.0.5), which would allow you to do exactly what you wish. -- C.
