Yes, the same file can be used for both mod_authz_svn and ViewVC[1]. ViewVC ignores the 'w' permission altogether -- it only cares about the 'r'. -- C-Mike [1] There are ways to configure Apache or ViewVC such that using the same file doesn't work as expected. For example, if Apache is trying to use the repository's basename as its name but you've configured ViewVC to use some different name altogether for that repository, then obviously things won't work as expected. But let's just hope nobody is doing that, shall we? -- C.
