XML files are deemed viewable by ViewVC when their MIME Content-type begin
with "text/". A file's MIME type, from ViewVC's point of view, is either
explicitly specified via its "svn:mime-type" property or implicitly
calculated by file extension mapping against the mime_types_files configured
in viewvc.conf.
