Is there a way to alter the commands that are run? The reason I ask is that my intention of using this was to go grab all of my configs on a regular basis. We have a network of about 3000 dell devices and about 100 cisco devices and about 500 of other random manufacturers. When I populate routerdb with all of my cisco devices, it works on about 15-20 of them and the reaminder are failing due to this command or that not being able to be run. It is almost exclusively the commands related to inventory that fail on some devices. All of my cisco devices are running one of two software releases. If it is a router it is running x and if it is a switch it is running y. It does not appear to work at all on any of my dell devices even though I have defined them as smc device type. If I could just get the program to run show run show start and maybe a few select generic commands, I could then get all of my devices to work even if they are not cisco. I have been chasing this for a week or more at least 5 hours a day and have not been able to figure it out. ------------------------------------------------------ http://viewvc.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=4255&dsMessageId=3049806 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
