There is, but our users complained enough about it and stopped trusting it. :( Interestingly, there is a P4Perl progress bar API, but someone saw the code and discovered that it was commented out. :( -- Michael Mirman MathWorks, Inc. 508-647-7555 -----Original Message----- From: perforce-user [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sambwise Sent: Monday, October 2, 2017 1:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [p4] Viewing progress when shelving large number of files Posted on behalf of forum user 'Sambwise'. If you do a shelve from the command line you should at least get file-by-file progress information (although you don't get feedback on the progress within a particular large file). Not sure if P4V surfaces this; I thought there was some kind of progress bar that got updated as files were uploaded but maybe I'm remembering wrong. -- Please click here to see the post in its original format: http://forums.perforce.com/index.php?/topic/5501-viewing-progress-when-shelving-large-number-of-files _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user
