Note that -t works only for classic clients. For stream-based clients, user needs to use -S, which is sort of the same idea. -- Michael Mirman MathWorks, Inc. 508-647-7555 -----Original Message----- From: perforce-user [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sambwise Sent: Tuesday, October 3, 2017 1:15 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [p4] How do I set up the same mappings on a new computer Posted on behalf of forum user 'Sambwise'. Create a new workspace using the old workspace as a template. From the command line this is just "p4 client -t OLDCLIENT". From P4V look for an option to use a "template" when you create the new workspace. (If you can't find it, open a command prompt and just run "p4 client -t OLDCLIENT"; when you go back to P4V and refresh the new client for the new machine should be there.) -- Please click here to see the post in its original format: http://forums.perforce.com/index.php?/topic/5502-how-do-i-set-up-the-same-mappings-on-a-new-computer _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user _______________________________________________ perforce-user mailing list - [email protected] http://maillist.perforce.com/mailman/listinfo/perforce-user
