It's worth trying.  The only possible wrinkle I can think of is
that the Windows server lower-cases all of its archive files, and I'm not
sure if running the Linux server in -C1 mode causes it to inherit that behavior
in addition to forcing case-insensitive sorting on the db (I'm also not sure
if the Windows server lowercases the lbrFile in its rev table, in which case
it's moot).  I'd test it out and do a verify on the replica to
see if all your files with capital letters in their names come up MISSING.
