Re: [p4] Hot backup server on different os from main server?

I wonder how you would use this kind of a backup server.
Say, your primary server goes down. Would you be able to point your traffic to this Linux server?
My guess is that whatever infrastructure around the server you have, it should be different on Windows and Linux.
IOW, I would be very skeptical about the "High Availability" option if the primary and secondary servers were on so drastically different platforms.
This is of course if you solve the case sensitivity issues others already pointed out.
