Re: [p4] line endings are giving me headaches

I don't think anything is "corrupt", but it might be in a state
that you don't expect for any number of reasons.

My guess would be that you have an editor that is saving changes in Mac
mode.  If you got the right endings when you reverted and
force-synced, it means that Perforce has the right endings; once a file has been
opened Perforce doesn't touch it.

When you say that you can't force sync files -- are these files that are
open?  Sync won't touch files that are open because it would
overwrite your local changes; if you want to discard your changes,
"revert" them and that will sync you back to the revision from the
depot (using your current LineEnd setting).
