   gnulib-tool: cowardly refusing to erase the module list.
   The meaning of the option '--import' has changed.

Thanks for reporting this problem.  The gnulib-tool change
caught me by surprise.  Public repo now updated to include:

  $ glog -1
  f1383af [maint] Do "gnulib-tool --add-import" for bootstrap.
