I patched the packager (PAR) to let all Perlish libraries work on Unix,
including POSIX.pm.  So now it works on RedHat 8.  Users may need to 

Question for release packaging: I think we should release vcp in .zips
and tarballs for each platform including text, PDF and HTML docs and
name the executable "vcp" for Unix and "vcp.exe" for Win32.  That makes
it a tidy bundle and gives a consistent command line interface.
