Re: Uninstall vault kills IE

This is not a vault problem just a coincidence.  Microsoft issued a 
patch through windows update yesterday for MDAC and I installed it on 
two computers.  Both computers exhibited the same problems you 
described.  You should also not be able to right-click a link and select 
Open in New Window.  To fix the problem run at the command line:

regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
