Have you moved the sgvault database, went to windows authentication only, or restricted access to master database? The admin tool is just a shell around the BACKUP DATABASE command. The most important thing is getting that backup. Can you make a backup from a SQL Server standpoint? Do you require any assistance if we did it within SQL Server? Once you have a valid backup, then we can see what is going on in the admin tool.
