Indeed all patches are against 2.4.0. I should have mentioned that, sorry.

I don't mind even dropping the remaining change. It is not at all important. I posted it just because I noticed it looking at the test results (over and over :) ).

I found the svntest code you pointed to. I do not promise anything, but I'll have a look and maybe the changes are not really dramatic. However, that will take time because of two things: (a) my Python is... well... let's say far from good and (b) I can work on this only in my spare time and that's not much (mostly part of weekends).
