Hi Michael,

ok. in more detail:

i have to cvs repository locations with multiple projects:

/cvs1/project1a
/cvs1/project1b
/cvs1/project1c
/cvs1/project1d

and

/cvs2/project2a
/cvs2/project2b
/cvs2/project2c
/cvs2/project2d

i want to have ONE svn repository with:

/svn/trunk/project1a
/svn/trunk/project1b
/svn/trunk/project1c
/svn/trunk/project1d
/svn/trunk/project2a
/svn/trunk/project2b
/svn/trunk/project2c
/svn/trunk/project2d

and for tags and branches:
/svn/branches/<BRANCHNAME>/project*
/svn/tags/<TAGNAME>/project*

my assumptions:
- this layout is created by cvs2svn using COMMANDLINE mode.
- this layout CANNOT be archieved with OPTIONFILE mode, because the
TAGNAME/BRANCHNAME-Symbols are always appended to branch/tag-paths. i
cannot specify a path with a symbol within.

you suggested:
- coping all cvs projects into one directory and convert it using
cvs2svn COMMANDLINE mode.
-> PROBLEM left: There a two CVSROOT-directories (one for each CVS
repository). How to merge the information in CVSROOT? At least HISTORY
information should be used from both repositories.

so my question was: to merge the history information from both cvs
repositories, can i concat the history files. (and afterwards convert it
using cvs2svn to svn) ?

Regards,
     Manuel.
