The problems that I know about mostly have to do with the fact that
CVSNT keeps track of whether each individual revision of a file is text
vs. binary rather than having a single "I'm binary" switch for all
revisions of a file. cvs2svn doesn't recognize CVSNT's binary
designation at all, let alone have the ability to change the status from
one revision to another.

Aside from that, it uses a slightly different storage format, but I
think that as long as you use CVSNT's version of "cvs" (i.e., use the
options "--use-cvs --cvs=3DPATH") then that shouldn't be a problem.

But there is no systematic testing of CVSNT conversions so we can't
promise that there won't be other problems. By all means, report your
experience back to the mailing list to help other CVSNT users in the future=
