cvs2git: a specific git branch is not same as an equivalent cvs branch

Hello,

I did the import from the cvs to git and followed the instructions in the
page:

http://cvs2svn.tigris.org/cvs2git.html

All cvs history comments etc. seemed to be ok.

The git master branch seemed to be the same as the cvs head branch (there
were some CVS commits after I did the conversion from the cvs to the git).

But when I check out some git branch and compared it to the equivalent cvs
branch they are not same.

When I run the "gitk --all" it looks ok, but of course it is so difficult
to use I can't be sure.

My projects are quite big in size.
