I'm going to have to put in a strong vote for this one. It's really not usable 
if you have a long project history but you're working off of branches that could 
be quite small.

In our case we branch and merge often, but have a long history behind the 
branches.

A simple option to "--stop-on-copy" would also aid in this - along with a limit 
if needed. The histories of branches alone are almost always manageable as long 
as there is a stop-on-copy option.
