Answers in-line:
  This leaves me with a few questions (although I'd still love to see that
feature comparison chart):

  * Does Vault have the ability to cache login information so that users are
not prompted multiple times when opening large VS.NET solutions?

  [dan] Yes, Vault support profiles, which allow you to automatically login
with cached connection information.



  * Are there plans to eventually have integrated Windows Authentication in
either product?

  [dan] Yes, for Vault, not sure about SourceOffSite.  This has been much
requested, and we do plan to add it.



  * If I import, say, 10 different VSS databases into our Vault server, do I
setup different user accounts for each database (even when they are the same
user), or do I set up each user once and then configure which users have
permissions for which databases?

  [dan] Vault supports the concept of a repository, which allows multiple
groupings of files per database.  Typically, each of your VSS databases
would be in a separate repository within the Vault server.  Users are common
to a server, and would work for all repositories on a server.



  * Are there any other time-saving features that make VS.NET developers
more productive that exist in one product but not the other?

  [dan] Since VS.Net controls the interface and the calls in the source
control system, the products work pretty much the same in relation to
VS.Net.
