Hi, Ralph, Thanks for contacting Technical Support. Are you using the GUI Client or the IDE client? What version of VSS are you using? In Visual SourceSafe 5.0, the OLE Automation component has a few limitations. These include: passwords longer than 7 characters, usernames longer than 15 characters, labels longer than 15 characters, and total path names larger than 128. Please let me know if this does not fit your situation.
