folders created by SOS 3.5 show all uppercase from perl scripts

Does anyone know why a get latest version would create the folders in a way
that it shows as all uppercase in perl using the getcwd() function? The
windows 2000 explorer shows mixed case just like it shows in SOS. I use perl
to push files from NT to Unix and the case matters.
