Hi, John, Thanks for using SourceOffSite. At 04:17 PM 2/9/2004, John Howard wrote: >The gui client has an option that controls dates used for files retrieved >from the remote server. For information about SOS 4.0, see our web site at: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=54 >On a releated note, I was quite surprised to discover a recent post >discussing the possible addition of a date comparison algorithim to reduce >copy bandwidth: > >http://lists.sourcegear.com/pipermail/sos-list/2003-March/009512.html > >Was this only a problem with the command line client? The command line client gets all files, even if unchanged versions exist in the working directory -- unless the -soshome parameter is used. When you use -soshome, the client references the SOS client cache file and only gets those files which are newer versions than those in the working directory.
