ctrl-u checkin problem

Hi,

Sometimes the ctrl-u check in does not work.  The right-click menu check in
always works for me.  The ctrl-u check in will always popup the "check in"
comment dialog, but after clicking Ok, sometimes nothing happens.  I have
not discovered a pattern to when it works and when it doesn't.  I'm using
version 3.5.3.

I apologize if this has already been discussed.
