Hi Lewis, Here is how is started out. Download the latest manual and print out the hot key list. Do the modeling part of the Gingerbread tutorial at the beginning of the manual. Later when away from the computer look at the hot key printout and cross out commands you know. (Don't cheat, just cross off what you remember) I did this, doing the tutorial a couple of times a day. (it is short) and reviewing the print out on the way home. After 3 days I had all the commands crossed off that i had been using in the tutorial. This method really drills the commands and working in Blender into your brain in a short amount of time. Let me know how it goes.
