Which book is the best for a beginner with Blender?

I apologize if this has been answered recently. Yahoogroups is telling me the group (many of them, not just Blender) is unavailable right now. I'm looking for recommendations for a book that is good for a beginner who wants to learn Blender. I want to use Blender for sci fi fan films. No game programming.
