in the case you want to use constraints in like snapping to the grid
you can hold down control, I generally find that pretty good for stuff
that i want some accuracy at.. You can also constrain effects, like
scaling, and rotating, by pressing which axis you want them
constrained to, like say you want to scale something but only in the z
direction, just hit z and you'll only be scaling along the z axis. It
also works for stuff like moving, etc. I dont know what paralell
constraints are. but if its any consolation, you can import cad
drawings into blender...
