LOL, Justin, you've been great! I haven't done practically anything in forever! But I know you are also very busy with life. The problem is that there are now over 1000 members, and I don't know how many of those are "real"??

What we used to do was wait until someone posted, and if the post was relevant, remove all the security from their account (mostly take off post moderation) and sometimes there were grey areas…. So we had to decide what to do (often, keep moderating them until they showed themselves to be truly interested in the subject.

I thought it might be healthiest for the group to have it dumped and started over again, LOL… but maybe that’s not needed. Maybe what it needs is a few more people to help moderate it?? Or take it over? I’m not the right person anymore as I haven’t had time for Blender in YEARS! I became pregnant with my seven year old daughter while goofing around on Blender! …………….. Um wait…. No no no, that didn’t come out right, LOL ;P

Anyway, it is nice to have a friendly place to go to ask questions when you’re feeling insecure about your work, and problems… so if anyone wants to volunteer????? Anyone?? LOL, as Moderator or?? We would all appreciate it. I think there have been questions that haven’t been approved in a timely manner and people got frustrated and moved on instead of getting help here. That’s pretty sad L I wish it weren’t so, but I’m sure it’s happened a lot :P. Well, thanks for your thoughts!
Ingie

I've been trying my best to keep up with the new posts, but I've been so busy with work and had a recent move. I have to agree with the spammer problem, but this will definitely happen with any large newsgroup or forum. It's been a while since I used that good ol' ban button. We've seen somewhat of an increase in posts over the last six months as well. Though.. I don't know. I say we leave it up to the members... ? Also.. ..age limit? Don't trust anyone under 45? I'm turning 20 in just over a month...and if I recall the blue crown next to my name indicates I'm part owner? At any rate I've been here for maybe 4 or 5 years... I model on and off... hate to see the place go... I've got it... no more 11 hour shifts! I'll stay here and blend all day!~Justin
