Got an interesting email, my last post seems to have attracted some "interest". Since I did do a little bit of gratuitous flaming in my last post, let me be clear about why I am interested in the success of this project: I started playing with Cinepaint about a year ago. I needed something to do a job and Cinepaint worked as expected. Since then I have probably run a few thousand images through it. The work could not have been done in any other open source application. To any one who would ask "why not", I would simply refer them to them to the goals listed on the Cinepaint project homepage. Any contribution I intend to make here is not a statement of "belief", it is a small attempt to return a very great favor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
