Hi Robin,
After much trouble with dependencies and configure script, I managed
to make rpm. How ever it failed complaining about a missing
plug-ins/pygimp/Makefile.in. It was true, the source tar ball created
when running make rpm (i.e. tar ball found in SOURCE/) was missing
plug-ins/pygimp/Makefile.in.

Then I tried building the rpm using the spec file found in the source
tar available from sourceforge, and the putting the tar file
downloaded from the same to SOURCE and running the rpmbuild with the
same options sent in cinepaintp-0.22-1/Makefile.in rpm target. Tthe
rpms were built without any issues this time, however when the created
rpms were complaining about missing oyranos libs. Then I tried
installing the OpenSUSE rpms for oyranos and then installing CinePaint
rpms, and it installed. When I lauched the hack installed CinePaint it
was complaining about missing oyranos as expected.

I believe the issue is in the target that builds the tar ball,
probably the dist target. Tomorrow I'll try to dig deeper, but it
would be easier if anyone could provide some insight about how the
Makefile.in went missing. If we resolve the missing Makefile.in issue
then rpm target will build without issues. However I'll have to see
how I can package oyranos as well.

I had a look at Fedora 8, and they had CinePaint 0.22-1 and it
installed perfectly :).

Cheers,
Mohanjith
