Hi Kai-Uwe,
My previous attept to compile CinePaint was on Debian(just to see that
it compiles properly), today I tried to compile on Fedora 8, such that
I can get the rpm built, but I was stuck at configure. :(

This time around it was not a dependency issue, I'm sure it is a
Fedora/Red Hat specific issue. After debugging I was only able to
determine it was caused in configure script it self. Somehow or the
other "and" seeps in as host architecture.
