Yes, there are some pices to be done by me. It is related to path handling 
in the official Oyranos versions.
I think to have solved this in the latest ICC Examin's rc bundles with the 
current Oyranos development compile. If someone is interessted I can build 
a rough guide to setup Oyranos.

Magenta is a over white or LDR clipping warning for HDR's.
Playing with some lightness sliders will one is able to control it 
somewhat. The first preferences tab shows a Gamut alarm: labeled square. 
Picking on it and adjusting the colour chooser will modify. If you dont 
like the warning, you might set the gamut warning colour to white. With 
colour management the gamut warning has no affect currently.
