I grabbed Eric Robinson's binary and put it on my host and then pointed a few friends to it, and here is feedback from Bjorn in Oslo, most recent info at the top, oldest at the bottom: Hi I had to make /sw folder on my hard drive. I then copied the / Applications/Cinepaint.app/Contents/Resources/lib to the /sw folder. The Cinepaint application then launced without errors. I got an error from the openexr plugin missing some libs as well. I found them in / Applications/Cinepaint.app/Contents/Resources/lib/ and copied them to / usr/lib/ Well now it starts without any errors. Looks like the compilation assumes that you have a folder called /sw/lib with the content of the internal lib in the app. Cheers Bjorn Rob Lingelbach wrote: On Mar 12, 2008, at 3:57 PM, Bjørn H Brudeli wrote: Hi Rob Cinepaint didn't run on my machine. I get this error: Hi Bjorn, let me see here... Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: /sw/lib/libcinepaint.0.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/Cinepaint.app/Contents/Resources/bin/ cinepaint Reason: image not found the above seems to be the problem as far as I can see. You're on Intel OS X Leopard right? do a search for libcinepaint.0.dylib . If you don't get any result, then we'll proceed differently. If you do find it, copy it to /sw/lib and then try running cinepaint. please let me know what happens. rob -- Rob Lingelbach [email protected] http://www.colorist.org/robhome.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
